You guys are having a heat wave! Here is what I woke up to today:

Our wind chill is -52. A bitterly cold Arctic air mass in combination with light northwesterly winds are producing extreme cold conditions over southern Manitoba. Wind chill values of -45 to -52 are being observed across the region.

These dangerous wind chill values will remain in place over southern Manitoba tonight with gradual improvement beginning on Thursday.

Stay inside!!! I made sure I ran my couple of errands yesterday. Next week it will be 56 degrees. It has been like a roller coaster this winter.

Damn!

Yeah the highways are closed, all schools, business and they telling people just stay home. Even -12 is dangerous. Frostbite happens in 5 min. People think because this winter is coldest all over in decades that there is no global warning. They do not get it. Winter's like this is BECAUSE of global warming. Stay inside, no kidding, even -12 is dangerous because of wind chill factor.

I was watching news and they show US too and up north around where you live they found a guy frozen to death in his garage.

It's awful. A lot of places have opened their doors to be warming centers for the homeless population. I am sure there will be a death count going. I saw Wisconsin already had some. They are more in tune with your temps. We need Mogy's sauna!
